Comprehensive Management of Preseptal Cellulitis with Massive Palpebral Abscess in 72-year-old Man

Introduction: Infectious inflammation of the periorbital and orbital soft tissue can be classified as preseptal (periorbital) or postseptal (orbital) cellulitis. Eyelid abscess, an accumulation pus in palpebral tissue, occur isolation association with Preseptal cellulitis is nearly three times more common than Case Presentation: The patient, this case, was admitted a complaint swollen left eyelid ten days before being admitted. Swollen inability to open eye accompanied by discharge five coming hospital. Current complaints include pain, swelling, thick yellow fluid. Massive abscess active crust present superior inferior frontotemporal area. A head CT scan revealed mass sub galea frontal region, orbit, temporal region. Multi-department consultations several workups were done reveal etiology plan appropriate management condition. Conclusion: comprehensive assessment must distinguish Ophthalmology examination imaging are crucial detect any extension beyond septum. Examining immunocompromised state focal infection determining proper treatment.
